Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is an essential part of the Missile Defense System. It provides a vital operational platform that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively manage networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives.
C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability, delivering an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to improve overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC is a critical component of all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities.
Essential Functions:
Facilitate and lead Iteration Planning sessions closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment and effective prioritization of project goals and objectivesIntegrate STIG configurations and verify system baselinesLead security audit remediation effortsFacilitate the Agile Scrum framework by working closely with the Product Owner, coaching the Cyber Patching agile team and other stakeholders, and removing impediments to ensure the team can meet its goalsCollaborating with Cyber Engineering:Cyber stakeholders to integrate and test cybersecurity solutions on the C2BMC system at HWY-83Developing and testing patches to mitigate vulnerabilities in Software, Hardware, and FirmwareManaging vulnerabilities through analysis and remediation of IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), CVEs, Vendor Patches, and STIG configurationsDocumenting and verifying all installation and setup procedures for laboratory environmentsWorking with software developers and vendors to troubleshoot and fix integration problemsProviding redlines and feedback to engineers and Cyber LeadershipDocumenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards as part of daily tasksWill work effectively in a fast-paced team environmentBasic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 1 year of experience; or 9 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeApplicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to startApplicants must have a current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) is required to startAbility and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needsMust have related cyber professional experienceAdministrative experience with Windows and/or Linux systemsExperience and knowledge of Patch Management systemsExperience and knowledge of Agile MethodologiesKnowledge of STIGs, NIST standards, and security controlsCertified Scrum Master (CSM) or an equivalent certificationUnderstanding software development life cycles and testing processesPreferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
