Our work depends on a Principal Cloud Developer joining our dynamic team to work in a fast-paced environment with engineering, migration, and operations. We’re looking for a self-starter to work both as part of the team and on individual assignments in an environment of customer mission delivery, integrity, and communications.
We’re looking to fill this role with someone who currently has cloud experience, certifications, and the skills necessary to execute in large environments, is flexible and enjoys tackling challenges, and desires to join a large team that is building and sustaining a large, multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise and migrating/expanding/automating it. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Principal Cloud Developer must have:
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
Experience: 5+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing and Jira
Required Skills:
Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Bash, PowerShell, or PythonProficiency with the administration and development of Atlassian Tools (specifically Jira)Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architectureCollaborate with cross-functional teams (including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers) to deliver high-quality solutionsDesign and implement data processing and integration solutions using ETL toolsExperience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerizationExcellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organizationPreferred Skills:
Linux OS experienceSecurity Clearance Level: Must be able to pass a background check to obtain and maintain a position of public trust with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Applicants must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
