Position Summary
The Principal Clinical Leader for the Aetna Better Health of Illinois plan functions as the key Behavioral Leader for the health plan. This role will be a key member of the health plan leadership as the subject matter expert to support the Behavioral Health needs of our ABHIL Medicaid members. The role will be the key conduit for Behavioral Health information via internal collaboration across the various functional areas (Care Management, Utilization Management, Provider Relations, Network, and Quality). In addition, this role will interface with state entities, community stakeholders, Behavioral Health providers, and community-based organizations. This individual serves as the HFS contractually required Behavioral Health Lead for ABHIL. In addition, this role will drive the overall Behavioral Health Strategy for the ABHIL plan focusing on design, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of innovative Behavioral Health initiatives & pilots to better meets the needs of vulnerable sub-populations within our Illinois Medicaid membership. Some examples include Justice Involved members, members with frequent hospital admissions & re-admissions, members with Substance Use Disorder, and members with co-morbid Behavioral and Physical Health needs.
This position is fully remote. Eligible candidates must live in Illinois – Cook County preferred.
Required Qualifications
Active licensure in Illinois as an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).3 or more years of clinical experience in community behavioral health3 or more years of Medicaid managed care experienceDemonstrated experience in project/program management related to behavioral health
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Master's degree in Counseling, Social work, or closely related field from an accredited college or university
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$121,514.00 - $261,723.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
