Reporting to the Director Product Operations, the Principal Analytics Lead – Product Operations & AI, you will lead the strategy and execution of analytics initiatives that power data-driven decision-making across product teams. This role bridges product operations, AI-driven insights, and business strategy, ensuring ADP’s products deliver measurable value and innovation at scale.

You will design and implement frameworks that leverage advanced analytics and AI to optimize product performance, enhance operational efficiency, and inform strategic decisions. This is a leadership role for someone passionate about transforming data into actionable intelligence and enabling a culture of continuous improvement. 

Your primary stakeholders are the business which includes service, sales, implementation and other various teams.

 

This role requires a deep understanding of product operations, advanced analytics, and AI applications to drive data-informed strategies that optimize product performance and operational efficiency

What you’ll do: Responsibilities

 

What You Can Expect On a Typical Day

 

Analytics Strategy & Vision

Define and execute ADP’s analytics roadmap aligned with product operations and AI initiatives. Champion data-driven decision-making across product teams and leadership.

AI-Driven Insights

Integrate machine learning and predictive analytics into product operations workflows. Partner with data science teams to develop models that forecast product adoption, churn, and customer satisfaction.

Operational Excellence

Build scalable analytics processes that streamline reporting and performance measurement. Establish governance for data quality, accessibility, and compliance. Manage vendor tool for analytics

Product Performance Measurement

Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor product health, usage trends, and operational efficiency. Use insights to recommend improvements in product lifecycle management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to embed analytics into decision-making. Enable product managers with tools and training for self-service analytics.

Enablement & Upskilling

Create programs to upskill product managers and operations teams in analytics and AI literacy. Drive adoption of analytics platforms and best practices across the organization. Manage the support of the analytics tool

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

 

8+ years in analytics, data strategy, or product operations roles. Proven experience leading analytics in a SaaS or HCM environment. Strong understanding of AI/ML applications in product and business operations. Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Pendo, Databricks,Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

 

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
