Principal, COO Strategy & Enablement

Role Summary:

The Strategic Planning Principal will serve as a trusted advisor to the VP of Strategy & Enablement, playing a critical role in advancing the priorities of the President and Chief Operating Officer and driving operational excellence across the enterprise.  In this role, you will manage high-impact projects, coordinate key business processes, and serve as a central point of connection between the VP of Strategy & Enablement and internal and external stakeholders.  Additionally, the Principal will partner closely with the VP of Strategy & Enablement to identify, accelerate, and deliver new sources of near-term value across the enterprise. 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage fast-cycle, cross-functional projects that support the President & COOs strategic and financial priorities. 

Partner with the VP of Strategy & Enablement and business leaders to identify short and medium-term value creation opportunities across growth, cost optimization, and operational effectiveness. 

Track progress against targets, remove operational barriers, and drive accountability across teams.

Develop concise executive updates, dashboards, and communications that highlight outcomes and lessons learned.

Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior executives, balancing strategic foresight with execution.

Foster collaboration across diverse teams to accelerate implementation of high-impact initiatives.

Represent the VP of Strategy & Enablement in meetings and strategic discussions, providing continuity and clarity of purpose.

Build strong, collaborative relationships across business units and functions to promote transparency and execution.

Support effective planning and preparation for leadership meetings, board engagements, and enterprise events.

Develop executive communications, presentations, and materials for the President & Chief Operating Officer and Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or accreditation (MBA, CPA, FSA, etc.) preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategic planning, or enablement, ideally within healthcare or a related industry.

Excellent stakeholder management with a proven track record of influencing senior executives.  Experience working directly with Executive Leadership Teams is preferred.

Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated executive presence.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities coupled with an action-oriented mindset.

Exceptional business acumen and a deep understanding of P&L dynamics, growth levers, and operational efficiency.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
