Prime Financial Services Clearing - Asia Treasury Operations Analyst

As a Treasury Operations Analyst in Prime Financial Services Business, your will ensure that Exchange margin requirement and intercompany funding is met accurately and promptly, fulfilling our obligations as a member of the global exchanges. JP Morgan is a clearing member for most of the Exchanges globally. You will be focusing upon Listed Derivative Exchanges globally. The Singapore Regional Operations Centre (ROC) will be JP Morgan’s preferred hub for a wide range of operational support for our listed derivatives business. You will have an opportunity to be exposed to the latest automation tools and FINTECH development, and you should embrace these new tools to improve the delivery of the process.

Job responsibilities

Act as a point of contact for the group from ASIAPAC strategic standpointProcess all funding requirements/margin calls accurately and promptly both at the exchange and within the internal Perform all FX for restricted currencies accurately and timelyBe aware of the appropriate escalation procedures when issues are raisedReview and check production output from a control aspectReview processes regularly and where possible make suggestions for greater efficiency and control improvementKeep all procedures up to day and easily accessibleHandle any ad hoc requests/queries of the team are dealt with in an appropriate mannerKeep up to date with the latest automation tools and deploys them where applicable

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Minimum Polytechnic diploma in relevant disciplinesPossesses futures and options knowledge Excellent Client focus and Customer care working practicesFlexible attitude towards working hours due to the demands of the working placeStrong intellectual curiosity for process improvements and adopt a positive change mindsetAble to work accurately and effectively under pressureStrong time management skills required to meet the many internal and external deadlinesGood PC skills and appetite to learn/deploy new technologies to automate / streamline workflowExcellent attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience within the financial industry is preferredMarket & Product Knowledge for ASPAC markets would be advantageousProficiency in both verbal and written Mandarin is preferred to liaise with the regional team and clients based in China
