Position Summary

We are seeking a Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our onsite Evernorth Workplace Care clinic in Fort Myers, Florida. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high‑quality, relationship‑based care in an employer-sponsored environment with:

No on‑call or night hours2–3 patients per hour to support quality interactionsMinimal insurance paperworkCompetitive compensation and comprehensive Cigna benefits, including medical, dental, 401(k), CME time and allowance, generous PTO, and annual performance bonus potential

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality primary care in an onsite outpatient settingDeliver episodic (low-acuity urgent care) and extended acute care, including multi‑visit treatment of short‑term conditionsEducate patients on chronic conditions and collaborate with external PCPs when applicableProvide acute care and sports physicals for pediatric patients ages 2–17Conduct occupational health screeningsPerform and oversee CLIA-waived tests, medication dispensing, and specimen collectionCollaborate with onsite partners to support biometric screenings and wellness initiativesProvide direct one‑on‑one health coaching and refer employees to wellness programsPartner closely with HR/Benefits teams to support workforce health strategiesWork collaboratively with—and potentially oversee—NPs, PAs, MAs, RNs/LPNs, and other clinical team membersContribute to a cohesive environment that aligns clinical, operational, and business goals

Required Qualifications

MD or DO degreeBoard Certification in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineActive, unrestricted Florida medical licenseActive BLS/CPR, DEA, and Florida Dispensing LicenseElectronic Health Record experience; EPIC preferredStrong clinical skills, excellent bedside manner, and a patient‑centered approachPassion for health promotion and patient educationBilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
