Compensation: $231,000 – $300,000 annually (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM or 4 day (10 hour shift available).
Location: Greater Sacramento area, CA (Multiple locations available)
We are seeking a full-time Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to join a mission-driven community health center serving diverse and underserved populations. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care within scope of practice Perform history and physical exams, develop differential diagnoses, and create treatment plans Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate therapies Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations when indicated Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate patient education Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated care delivery Maintain productivity standards while delivering high-quality care Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record Review and sign clinical reports (labs, consults, imaging) promptly Submit billing and coding documentation in a timely manner Participate in continuing education and maintain all required licensure and certificationsQualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Must have 2+ years of post residency experience; no new grads. Active, unrestricted California medical license Community health center or FQHC experience preferred Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferredBenefits
