Position: Pricing Specialist

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Vaughan, ON

Purpose:

The Pricing Specialist is responsible for processing standardized tasks that support Supplier Services operations across Maintenance, Pricing, and Manufacturer Chargeback (MCB) workflows. This role ensures timely and accurate execution of activities such as file maintenance, pricing updates, and MCB billing requests from internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Pricing & MCB Processing

Processes pricing updates and maintains templates for standard requests. Executes MCB billing requests submitted by internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate chargeback processing to suppliers. Validates data inputs and confirms completion of billing workflows.

Additional Responsibilities

Performs routine file maintenance in Retalix and related systems.

Updates item records and ensures data integrity for pricing and chargeback processes.

Monitors queues and escalate issues as needed.

Administrative Support & Tracking

Maintains onboarding and pricing request trackers.

Ensures proper documentation and status updates for all assigned tasks.

Communicates with internal teams to confirm completion of steps and resolve minor discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

1-2 years in pricing, data entry, or administrative support roles. Familiarity with ERP systems (Retalix experience preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing. Ability to follow structured workflows and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook. Good communication skills for internal coordination. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

Remote Role:

This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.

Travel:

This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
