**Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician** **Job Description**
The Preventative Maintenance Technician will be responsible for checking amps, voltages, running temperature tests, and identifying air fuel problems. The role involves cleaning and servicing existing units such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and condensers. Technicians will work directly with commercial clients to diagnose issues and follow a preventive maintenance checklist provided by the service field. The position involves working on mechanical and various HVAC equipment, although EPA certification is not required. Technicians must be on call once every six weeks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Check and regulate amps and voltages.
+ Run temperature tests and identify air fuel issues.
+ Clean and service walk-in coolers, freezers, condensers, and other units.
+ Diagnose issues and execute preventive maintenance according to a checklist.
+ Collaborate with commercial clients to ensure equipment functionality.
+ Work with mechanical and HVAC equipment.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years of experience in commercial and industrial preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.
+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and repair.
+ OSHA 10 Certification.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Knowledge of electrical systems, including amps and voltage regulation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience with compressors and pumps.

**Work Environment**
The work schedule is from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call duty is required once every six weeks from Monday 4:30 PM to the following Monday 7:30 AM, with compensation for hours on call. The role involves working in various commercial and industrial buildings.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
