**Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Preventative Maintenance Technicians for both 1st and 2nd shifts to perform preventative maintenance and basic reactive maintenance on various machines within the plant. Seventy percent of your time will be dedicated to preventative maintenance tasks such as lubricating, greasing, and replacing parts. The remaining thirty percent will be focused on responding to reactive line calls, utilizing tools like voltmeters for troubleshooting welders, plasma cutters, hoists, and more. **Responsibilities** + Complete detailed preventative maintenance schedules on machines throughout the campus. + Work on machines such as industrial saws, hand and power tools, welders, torches, plasma cutters, hoists, and material handling equipment. + Grease bearings and check oil levels on machines. + Replace faulty parts with new ones. + Follow blueprints when available. + Use voltmeter or multi-meter to troubleshoot machines. + Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Occasionally perform electrical troubleshooting. + Collaborate with maintenance technicians on complex breakdowns. + Assist team members with various projects across the plant. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in preventative and corrective maintenance. + Mechanical troubleshooting expertise. + Mechanical inclination with experience in motors, pumps, and valves. + Self-starter with effective time management abilities. + Minimum of 1+ years mechanical experience in automotive, industrial, or diesel sectors. + Minimum of 1+ years of preventative maintenance experience, including lubing, greasing, oil changes, and part replacements. + Industrial maintenance knowledge. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $47840.00/yr. - Standard medical, dental, vision benefits package (effective on day 1) - STD, LTD, 401k, PTO accrual program - Driven by Values - everyone matters, passionate about winning, honesty, integrity, candor - Largest employer in Elkhart County - Will pay for continuing education through Ivy Tech when folks are interested (industrial electric for example) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Goshen,IN. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Aug 15, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
