**Description** **Setup and Maintenance:** • Carefully install and align powder pressing dies within the machine according to specifications, using precision measuring tools. • Inspect dies for wear and damage, periodically remove dies for polishing, polish die and reinstall. • Incoming inspection of new dies sets. • Maintain a die bank with various die sizes to support production. • Press Operation and Monitoring: • Maintain press process parameters (recipe) for each product. • Support production by setting up initial process parameters to produce optimum density green compact for each batch and release to production operators. • Monitor press operation during production runs, assist in trouble shooting, identifying and addressing any malfunctions or deviations from standard. • **Quality Control:** • Regularly inspect pressed parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and other quality attributes using appropriate measuring tools. • Identify and report any quality issues to ensure corrective actions are taken. • Improve green compact yield.
