Job Description
As a Press Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting the operation and maintenance of flexographic printing presses. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment, with ample opportunities for growth and advancement.
ResponsibilitiesAssist press operators with daily press setup, operation, and cleanup.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S and safety protocols.Read and interpret job paperwork to ensure customer and internal specifications are met.Accurately track job times and material usage using the CERM system.Inspect inks, coatings, and materials for quality and readiness.Handle and return unused materials, dies, and inks properly.Operate and maintain support equipment such as ink pumps, anilox wash bath, sonic cleaner, rub tester, tensile strength tester, plate mounting equipment, corona treater, and UV system.Essential Skills1+ years of machine operation or manufacturing experience (preferred).Strong mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills.Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures.Basic math, reading comprehension, and computer skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production, machine operation, troubleshooting, setup of machines, inspection of parts, lean manufacturing, and ink testing.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in an industrial/manufacturing setting on a production floor equipped with coating and converting machinery. The work environment may include moderate noise, moving mechanical parts, and physical activity such as lifting, standing, and walking. During the contract, shifts are from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and after conversion, night shifts from 5pm to 5am.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
