START ASAP!!!!!** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Press Operator who is detail-oriented and capable of working in a hot environment. The ideal candidate should possess mechanical skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. This role requires the physical capability to push, pull, and lift heavy tooling. **Responsibilities** + Operate press machinery efficiently and safely. + Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers for precision work. + Meet production goals while working independently with minimal supervision. + Read blueprints and follow technical instructions. + Handle various tools including hand tools, calipers, and punch presses. + Engage in fabrication and machine operating tasks. + Lift up to 50 lbs frequently to load the press. + Perform minimal data entry and counting tasks. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude and technical work experience. + Experience with assembly and machine operation. + Proficiency in using measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. + Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. + Capability to meet production goals independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior manufacturing and machine operating experience preferred. + Experience in technical jobs requiring precision. + Basic mathematical skills and computer proficiency. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers attractive benefits including 80% employer-paid benefits, vacation, and retirement plans. The shop is exceptionally clean with efficient processes, and despite current staffing of 70, we have previously employed over 180 individuals. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of POST FALLS, ID. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
