**Job Title: Press Operator**
Pay: $23 - $26 an hour
Shift: 3rd shift
**Job Description**
As a Press Operator, you will lead the operation of Press lines, including changeovers, machine start-up, running, and shut-down. You will play a crucial role in supporting operations to achieve World Class status, with a strong focus on Safety. Your responsibilities will include running all jobs according to customer, manufacturing, and print specifications, as well as ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead the operation of Press lines, including changeovers, machine start-up, running, and shut-down.
+ Run jobs according to customer specifications, manufacturing specifications, print specifications, color folders, and standard operating procedures.
+ Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets, S.O.C sheets, and others as assigned.
+ Collaborate with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize job change-over and down time.
+ Train and guide the press assistant to efficiently perform required duties as per the assistant training matrix.
+ Understand and adhere to product safety standards.
+ Comply with all 5S and World Class Manufacturing initiatives.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in machine operating and as a press operator.
+ Proficiency in entering data into computer systems.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Capability to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
+ 1+ year of manufacturing/ Machine operator experience.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Shelbyville, KY.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
