**Job Title: Press Operator**
Job Description
The Press Operator is responsible for safely setting up, operating, and monitoring press machinery and equipment to meet customer and production goals. This role involves completing press machine setups for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation. The Press Operator monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met. Responsibilities also include verifying and tracking all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
**Shift: 7PM-7AM 2,2,3 (candidates will work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next) -- every other weekend**
**They will train during day shift for 1+ month**
**Must be comfortable with Setup / troubleshooting (basic- no electrical),**
**Pay- $21-$30 - based on experience**
Responsibilities
+ Set up, operate, and monitor press machinery and equipment.
+ Complete press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
+ Monitor production processes and inspect materials and equipment.
+ Ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas.
+ Verify and track materials for inventory and work in progress.
+ Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with machine operation, press machine, and printing press.
+ Ability to set up and troubleshoot machines, particularly flexographic press machines.
+ Experience with solvent-based printing press is a significant advantage.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Allied Gear Flexo-Master 16", Aqua Flex 2558 LX, CMR 650, Millennium series custom, and UTECO OPAL 1000 machines.
+ Comfortable with non-electrical troubleshooting.
+ Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
+ Comfortable working with standard office equipment.

Work Environment
Work primarily in a manufacturing environment with potential safety and health hazards. Hearing protection, safety shoes, and vision protection are required in manufacturing areas. The role involves exposure to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels, and hot/humid conditions. The shift is 7 PM to 7 AM, operating on a 2,2,3 schedule with every other weekend off. Training will be conducted during the day shift for over a month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
