**Job Title: Press Brake Setup** **Job Description** This role involves working on a Cincinnati press brake, specifically with large metal sinks. The primary task is to ensure that all parts match the diagram and shape into the correct part, using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures for verification. **Responsibilities** + Assist higher-level Sheet Metal Craftsmen in positioning sheet metal parts for forming in brake presses. + Support higher-level Sheet Metal Craftsmen in changing brake press dies. + Operate hand/foot controls of brakes under the direction of experienced Sheet Metal Craftsmen to assist in metal forming processes. + Utilize carts to transport various materials within the department. + Perform daily general clean-up within designated work areas. **Essential Skills** + Experience with machine operating, specifically brake and press machines. + Basic measuring skills. + Metal machine operating experience, particularly with Cincinnati machines. + Experience with press brake operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6 months to a year of metal machine operating experience. + Manufacturing experience. + Proficiency with hand and power tools such as sanders, shears, presses, and spot welders. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Why Work Here?** Join a union company with excellent benefits upon permanent hire, including membership in the Teamsters Union. The facility is large and industrial, yet very clean for a manufacturing plant, with approximately 100 people on the production floor. The dress code is casual, with jeans and a t-shirt, and requires safety glasses and steel-toe boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BROADVIEW, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $25.86/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
