**CNC Press Brake Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our small machine shop team. This is a day shift position, operating Monday through Thursday from 5 am to 3:30 pm. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to engineering drawings and customer specifications. The operator will ensure high-quality production, adherence to safety standards, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to form metal components as per blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
+ Perform machine setups including tooling selection, die changes, and back-gauge adjustments.
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings, bend notes, and job travelers.
+ Conduct first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, protractors, and angle gauges.
+ Ensure parts meet quality standards, tolerances, and customer requirements.
+ Make minor CNC program edits or adjustments as needed to achieve correct bends.
+ Report machine malfunctions, tooling issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC press brake operation.
+ Proficiency in setting up a Cincinnati CNC press brake using blueprints and laser cut blanks.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Experience with performing precise inspections and quality checks.

**Work Environment**
This position is based in a small, fast-paced machine shop that values internal growth and skill development. The team operates under a flexible, yet structured schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5 am to 3:30 pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Fountain Valley, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $62400.00/yr.
