Job Description
As a Press Brake Operator at our automotive manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake machines to bend and form metal components used in vehicle assemblies. This role is critical to maintaining the precision and quality standards required in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to form metal parts according to blueprints and job specifications.Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job.Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and protractors.Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bends and tolerances.Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S and safety standards.Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including PPE usage.Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED.Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with Amada, Cincinnati, or similar CNC press brake systems.Experience with lean manufacturing or ISO/TS standards.Automotive or high-volume production background.Proven track record of meeting quality and efficiency targets.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled, but it maintains a comfortable temperature year-round. Employees are expected to comply with safety standards and maintain cleanliness in compliance with 5S practices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $25.00/hr.
