**Job Title: Press Brake Operator** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join our growing team. This role involves setting up, operating, and checking parts primarily composed of stainless steel and mild steel. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our fabrication area, which is experiencing significant growth. Responsibilities + Set up and operate press brake machines to form sheet metal parts according to work orders and drawings. + Calculate bend allowances and select appropriate tooling for bending requirements. + Inspect parts against customer blueprints using hand tools and measuring instruments. + Work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment. Essential Skills + Minimum of 3 years of experience in press brake operation and sheet metal fabrication. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with Bystronic and Cincinnati machines is a plus. + Ability to lift 35 lbs and work with light gauge sheet metal. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in bumping parts and forming radii. + Ability to use hand and power tools such as calipers, protractors, and squares. + Possession of basic tools for the job. + Flexible experience requirements based on education and skills. Work Environment Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with little to no overtime while on contract. The work takes place in a sheet metal fabrication shop that is hot in summer and heated in winter. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, New Jersey. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
