Press Brake Operator
**Aerotek is hiring a Press Brake Operator!** **Job Description** The candidate in this position will be responsible for operating bending and press brake machines. They will pull and examine blueprints, produce parts that match the specifications, and maintain an organized workspace by keeping all parts together. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate bending machines. + Change tooling and perform first piece inspections. + Upload jobs into machine interface and troubleshoot issues. + Conduct preventative maintenance and perform precision forming, bending, and folding. + Read and interpret computerized blueprints and drawings. + Use and read measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, protractors, and tape measures. + Work with a variety of metals including galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in press brake operations. + Ability to read blueprints and CNC control experience. + Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Minimum of 1 year experience as a Press Brake Operator or CNC Operator. + Ability to team lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is preferred to move materials. + Experience in sheet metal fabrication and machine operation. + Ability to set up machines and use a tape measure. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a 15% shift premium for 3rd shift and the opportunity for growth as the company expands with a new building. Employees receive annual reviews with their direct supervisor. **Work Environment** This position is for the 3rd shift, working Monday to Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM and Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Training will occur on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks. The work environment can be hot in the summer, but the facility is clean, all necessary tools are provided, and safety is prioritized. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
