**Job Title: Press Brake Operator | $17-$23/HR** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate a power brake to bend, notch, punch, form, roll, arc, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal and structural shapes according to blueprint or sketch specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency in metal fabrication techniques. **Responsibilities** + Select, position, and align dies in the machine ram and fasten clamp bar to hold dies in position. + Adjust screws to set specified pressure of the ram and clearance between dies according to metal thickness. + Lay out or detail layout on work stock using blueprints or templates. + Set up CNC back gauge. + Start machine to lower ram or depress pedal to activate ram that bends metal. + Set stops on machine bed and reposition stock to run successive pieces or perform multiple operations. + Verify dimensions of work-piece, conduct first piece and random inspection of production. + Build temporary dies. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with brake press operation. + Skills in sheet metal fabrication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience as a CNC Operator, Brake Press Operator, or in operating machinery such as Punch Press or Laser Operation. **Why Work Here?** Join us at a new facility built in 2010 with a 4-day work week, providing 52 extra days off along with 9 paid holidays. The work takes place in a quiet and clean environment located in the historic Hoover Building in North Canton, within a 200,000 sq ft space. You will work independently on various sections of builds, contributing to the development of electrical systems like substations, switchgear, circuit breakers, and bus duct. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
