**Job Title: Press Brake Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate metal bending machines (Press Brake) in accordance with our quality and quantity standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform all dimensional inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and steel ruler to ensure production output meets requirements.
+ Conduct routine operator maintenance and operational checks on all tools and equipment, including tool cleaning, machine oiling, fluid level/air pressure checks, and safety switch functioning.
+ Select and set-up tools, equipment, and machines based on production specifications and/or instructions to ensure quality productions.
+ Review machine tooling requirements and plan set-up/operations to optimize workflow through the cell/department.
+ Understand the effects of the forming process in downstream operations and make machine/tooling adjustments as needed.
+ Learn to adjust and control RAM speeds on the press during part bending.
+ Understand the different types of bending and how different materials react, including growth and shrinking.
+ Load thickness, bends, and tolerances of the material and demonstrate a full understanding of compound tolerances.
+ Complete reference sheets for complicated parts and set-up necessary tooling.
+ Create new programs on the machine and achieve and maintain any required certifications.
+ Cross-train in multiple workstations and work independently without supervision.
+ Produce quality work at standard efficiency levels and meet or exceed standard PPM levels.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the assigned work center and retain knowledge of each job.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience operating metal fabrication machinery.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
+ Basic math skills.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
