Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to prepare, set up, and adjust press brakes according to blueprints and production schedules. The role involves loading and unloading materials, selecting machine programs, and interpreting blueprints to ensure high-quality production. Additionally, you will inspect finished products for compliance with quality standards, perform routine machine maintenance, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare, set up, and adjust press brake as required by blueprints and production schedules.Perform loading and unloading of material by changing tools and selecting required machine programs.Interpret blueprints accurately.Inspect products and evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating press brakes.Ability to work under minimal supervision to fabricate products per engineering drawings.Blueprint reading skills.Experience in CNC and sheet metal fabrication.Ability to use calipers for quality checking parts.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of fabrication processes.Capability to program press brakes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled environment with available shifts: 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:45pm, and 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm to 1:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanahan, South Carolina.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.00/hr.
