**Job Title: Press Brake Operator 1st Shift**
Job Description
The press brake operator will be responsible for reading blueprints and using them to set up and operate the brake press machine in the fabrication area. As a steel supplier, we provide a variety of services to meet our clients' needs, including steel bending.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints to perform setups on the brake press machine.
+ Operate the brake press machine in the fabrication area.
+ Perform setups independently, including inserting the proper tooling and setting the machine.
+ Track production output using AS400 (ERP Software).
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 6 months experience operating a machine in a production environment.
+ Proficiency in math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and decimals.
+ Ability to utilize a computer for tracking production output.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Education within machining or fabrication from a technical school is a plus.
+ Experience performing machine setups independently.
+ Ability to read blueprints effectively.

Work Environment
The role is based on the shop floor in the fabrication area, where you will operate the Brake Press. You will be on your feet throughout the day in a clean and organized setting.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
