**Job Title: Press Brake Machinist** **Position Summary** Forming products to customer specifications and in a timely manner. Must be able to perform own setups and produce quality parts, with the end goal of increasing capacity on the brake department. 1st shift Long term with full benefits $28-33/hr Candidate will be trained for a lead position in the press brake department **Essential Job Responsibilities** + To set up and run Amada EG, HG, RG and Diacro, Press brake + Able to program and run Amada automated bending cell + read blue prints + knowledgeable of measuring tools + knowledgeable of manufacturing math (bend allowance, K factors joggle loss etc) + working independent of others **Safety Expectations** * Be responsible for safety awareness in all jobs to help eliminate injuries to yourself and your team members. + Constantly check for safety hazards and ensure problems are rectified promptly + Maintain a clean and orderly work area + Actively participate in safety improvement activities + Report any unsafe practices by co-workers or contractors. + Immediately report all injuries and other safety incidents. **Quality Outline** * Understand the company's Quality Policy and objectives. + Complete S/W collection sheet at prescribed intervals and follow CTQ's to keep product in conformance. + Utilize proper fixtures and templates at prescribed intervals. + Complete all paperwork and clock-ins and clock-outs accurately (ie. job travelers, material status sheets, vantage, etc) **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** * Must be able to work in a fast pace environment + Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
