Job Title: Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator to program and set up CNC press brakes, preferably Cincinnati, for the production of precision metal parts. This role requires ensuring tooling, bend sequences, and quality standards meet job requirements. We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude and good attendance who is willing to grow into a lead role.

Responsibilities

Program and set up CNC press brakes from blueprints and work instructions.Select tooling and create bend sequences to meet tolerance requirements.Perform part inspections and adjust programs or setups as needed.Maintain equipment, tooling, and a safe, clean work area.Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.Demonstrate leadership potential through reliability, communication, and initiative.

Essential Skills

Proficient in reading blueprints and work instructions.Experience with CNC press brakes, specifically Cincinnati preferred.Skilled in tooling selection and bend sequence creation.Ability to perform inspections and troubleshoot setups.Experience with micrometers, calipers, and laser cutters.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with mechanical assembly and fabrication.Knowledge in laser operation and CNC Amada Laser Machine.Familiarity with inspection and troubleshooting processes.Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fairly laid-back, medium-sized shop that is climate controlled and not noisy. Quick turnaround times may require a balance between low-key periods and urgent work. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule, Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with optional partial Fridays. The supervisor maintains a mellow demeanor, while the owner encourages focus and productivity during work hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of BLAINE, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

They will hire on RIGHT at the end of the 6 month contract! They have really good benefits and PTO too. Also get a raise once perm.
