Press Brake Operator

Job Description

This role involves working as a press brake operator, doing full setups, running a press brake machine, and bending material throughout the day. Individuals will be given job orders, responsible for pulling the appropriate material, and running it through the press brake in a job shop setting. The role includes setting up machines, executing projects, and verifying that the final product meets specifications.

Responsibilities

Operate the press brake machine efficiently and safely.Set up machines and prepare them for production tasks.Interpret job orders and select the correct material for processing.Verify that finished products meet specified quality standards.Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Measure and cut materials precisely for the press brake machine.Perform CNC setup and ensure proper fabrication of sheet metal.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience doing full setups (not just an operator)Experience reading blueprints and utilizing basic mathematical skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
