Climate Control facility Job Description We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Press Assistants. This is an entry-level position in the printing industry, offering an excellent opportunity to learn and grow. Responsibilities + Assist Press Operators in setup, make-ready, and clean-up activities. + Change labels from one job to another efficiently. + Clean ink pans and other ancillary equipment. + Strip plates from cylinders. + Follow all quality assurance checks meticulously. + Differentiate colors on labels and use a ruler for various measurements. + Participate in all department meetings, process improvement events, and safety trainings. + Lift up to 50 pounds at various times as needed. + Stand and move around for long periods of time. Essential Skills + Ability to perform general production tasks. + Capability to stand for long periods. + Proficient in reading and using a ruler. + Basic understanding of production and ability to use a tape measure. Work Environment The work environment consists of three shifts: 1st from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 2nd from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and 3rd from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Employees are paid for 8 hours, with a 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks. The York plant employs approximately 225 full-time staff and operates on a weekday schedule, eliminating weekend shifts in June. The dress code is casual, and the facility is equipped with all necessary technology and equipment for efficient operation. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
