Press Assistant

Our client, a label manufacturer for the healthcare industry, is seeking a Press Assistant to join their team. As a Press Assistant, you will work and train directly with the operator. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a cooperative attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Press Assistant
**Location:** Strongsville, OH
**Pay Range:** $18-$20/hour
**Shift:** Monday - Friday: 5am - 1pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist the printing press operator to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
+ Inspect materials and products for defects, ensuring conformance to specifications.
+ Support product changeovers and prepare components for the following run.
+ Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding area.
+ Follow all safety rules and guidelines, including reporting unsafe conditions.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma / GED.
+ Minimum of 6 months machine operator experience
+ Experience working with application of glues, coatings, and laminating of substrates.
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
