**Job Title: Press Assistant** **Job Description** Join our team as a Press Assistant, supporting the production of labels for major grocery retailers like CVS, Kroger, Dillons, Target, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, and Ulta. Be part of a growing company with an enhanced benefits package. **Responsibilities** + Assist the press operator with general labor tasks. + Stand at the end of the press to catch materials. + Check the quality of products, box them, and palletize the boxes. + Help with changeovers of large rolls of paper into the machine (50+ lbs). + Change wet inks, ensuring safety and cleanliness. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience. + 6+ months of mechanical or mechanically inclined experience. + Ability to lift up to 45 lbs independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferably some experience in printing or press, although not required. + 6+ months of experience in press operating or as a press assistant is preferred. + Experience in assembly line, inspection, banding, boxing, production, and packaging. + Mechanically inclined and machine operation skills. + Must pass background and drug screening. + Ability to communicate in English or Spanish is acceptable. **Why Work Here?** We offer a 3% 401K contribution regardless of employee contribution, weekly pay, reimbursement for steel-toed shoes, opportunities for overtime, and cross-training. The environment can be loud with an ink smell, and composite-toed or steel-toed shoes are required. Shifts are structured with 15-20 people per shift, with opportunities for various shifts: 1st Shift (Mon-Thurs 6 am - 4:30 pm), 2nd Shift (Mon-Wed 6 pm - 6 am, Thurs 6 pm - midnight), and 3rd Shift (Fri-Sun 6 am - 6 pm). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Century, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
