Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Press Assistants to join our team on the 2nd shift. This role involves supporting the operation of press machines, ensuring efficient production and quality control. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for advancement.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in operating the press machine, with no setup required as machines are pre-configured.Load parts, set measurements, and initiate the press process.Prep finished products and place them on pallets for shipping.Track work orders and maintain organization through paper records.Inspect parts for quality assurance.Operate a sit-down forklift and potentially a pull truck or 'carpet puller'.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in manufacturing and machine operation.Ability to operate machinery and perform assembly tasks.Experience in quality checks and paperwork management.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with printing and color matching is desired but not required.Mechanically inclined with forklift operation experience.Ability to operate a tape measure.Shift
2nd shift :15 AM to 1:45 AM, Monday to Thursday,
with a training period scheduled from 5 AM to 3:30 PM for 4 to 6 weeks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
