As a Presales Solution Architect – Security, you will partner with Security Sales Specialists to help customers understand, design, and adopt Microsoft’s Security solutions. You will translate business challenges into technical solutions, create architectural designs, and deliver workshops and demonstrations. Your expertise will directly contribute to customer success, business growth, and the advancement of secure digital transformation.
Collaborate with Security Sales Specialists to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions using Microsoft Security technologies.Design solution architectures, roadmaps, and documentation that align Microsoft’s security capabilities to customer priorities.Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts to showcase Microsoft’s security solutions.Provide deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra ID, and Intune.Guide customers on implementing Zero Trust principles to protect identities, devices, apps, data, and infrastructure.Differentiate Microsoft Security solutions from competitors, addressing objections and aligning technical value to business outcomes.Work closely with Microsoft account teams, partners, and technical specialists to drive co-selling motions.Stay current with Microsoft’s evolving security offerings and the broader cybersecurity landscape to provide forward-looking guidance.What we need to see from you
Experience in a technical presales or solution architect role, with a focus on security and cloud technologies (no specific years required).Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Security solutions (Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra ID, Intune).Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, including SIEM, XDR, identity security, compliance, and risk management.Proven ability to engage with CISOs, security architects, and compliance leaders in presales conversations.Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes, building trust with both technical and executive audiences.Experience running customer demos, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.Familiarity with scripting/automation (PowerShell, KQL, JSON, or similar) is a plus.Industry certifications in relevant solution areas (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.Commitment to inclusive, collaborative teamwork and continuous learning.
