Position Responsibilities:
As a Prep Cook, you’ll play an essential role in our kitchen by:

Preparing specific food items to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes.Maintaining kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department standards.Setting up and maintaining assigned kitchen workstations.Practicing safe food handling and proper storage techniques.Minimizing waste and ensuring the appropriate use of supplies and equipment.Keeping work areas clean and equipment maintained.Reporting any equipment repair or maintenance needs.Supporting other back-of-house tasks as directed by management.

Position Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience as a cook in a full-service restaurant; a passion for food is essential, and pizza knowledge is a plus!Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize tasks.Strong ability to handle stress while maintaining a calm, welcoming demeanor.Commitment to producing high-quality work in line with Emmy Squared standards.Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.Physical ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs., and stand for extended periods.Proficiency with culinary tools and the ability to taste and smell ingredients to ensure quality.
