· Develop and optimize E/E architectures and wiring solutions using PREEvision.
· Perform model-based wiring harness and architecture development, with focus on wiring and hardware layers.
· Develop, program, validate and deploy custom metrics in PREEvision to evaluate architecture concepts, wiring harness optimization and automation potential.
· Implement metric-based logic to analyze splice integration, grounding strategies, network topology, circuit optimization, inline strategies, automation degree and cost/weight deltas.
· Convert architecture optimization methodologies (e.g., zonal concepts, modular inline & grounding strategies) into executable and scalable PREEvision automation workflows.
· Maintain and improve a reusable library of optimization metrics, ensuring alignment with global standards and manufacturability.
· Act within a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with Advanced EE Architecture (Wuppertal), TC Pune, and customer teams globally.
· Support the RFQ process and identify opportunities for technology innovation and automation.
· Analyze and define optimization key elements in vehicle electrical design including power distribution, harness partitioning, ground strategies and subsystem behavior.
· Support benchmarking studies and architecture evaluation scenarios.
