We’re seeking a Preconstruction Estimator with strong analytical skills and construction industry experience to support ongoing projects in Rhode Island. This role is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, managing bid processes, and supporting preconstruction efforts through detailed cost analysis and vendor coordination.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plansPrepare material and labor cost estimatesDevelop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractorsManage bids from vendors and contractorsUse bid data to prepare detailed cost analysesPresent estimates to management and stakeholdersCompile and record actual costsEssential Skills5+ years of construction estimating experienceProven experience as an Estimator in the construction industryStrong analytical and mathematical skillsProficiency with estimation software and toolsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAdditional QualificationsBachelor’s degree in mathematics, civil engineering, construction management, or a related fieldExperience in commercial constructionProject management skillsJob Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Narragansett, RI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
