**Job Title: Precaster** **Job Description** Join our team as a Precaster, where you will play a vital role in assembling metal forms for molding reinforced concrete slabs, stairs, and beams. Your daily tasks will include cleaning and preparing molds, pouring and finishing concrete, and various activities related to the manufacturing of precast and pre-stressed concrete. This role is physically demanding, requiring frequent climbing and maneuvering in and out of tall, narrow forms. **Responsibilities** + Clean and prepare molds for concrete pouring. + Assemble metal forms for reinforced concrete products. + Pour and finish concrete for slabs, stairs, and beams. + Frequently climb in and out of forms that are 5-6 feet tall. + Read and understand the Production Schedule and adhere to time frames. + Assist with the setup and stripping of concrete forms. + Assist with filling and leveling concrete castings. + Participate in housekeeping to maintain a clean shop environment. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 60lbs. + Must be able to climb in and out of 5-6ft tall forms. + Stand, walk, crouch, kneel, stretch, and climb for extended periods. + Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Drama-free individual with a positive attitude. + Ability to use concrete finishing tools. + Ability to operate heavy equipment such as overhead cranes. + Some woodworking skills are preferable. + Welding, maintenance, and quality control skills are a plus. **Why Work Here?** Work with a family-owned business that has been serving the Inland Northwest for over 100 years. The work takes place inside a large, open shop with a crew of 5-10 people, divided into six different zones requiring varied skills. The environment is physically demanding and involves exposure to concrete dust and splatter. Join a team of 150 employees committed to delivering high-quality concrete products. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
