Job Description
Join our team as a General Laborer at our concrete plant located in Newberrytown. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you can leverage your skills and grow within the company.
ResponsibilitiesBreak down molds of concrete pieces that have cured overnight.Pull out 'green concrete' from molds and clean them by scraping out excess concrete.Prepare forms for the next pour.Operate saws and assist in smoothing poured concrete to cure overnight.Prepare molds and set in re-bar with spacers.Clean up area by sweeping and shoveling concrete scrapes.Essential SkillsPrevious experience in construction or heavy manufacturing settings.Proficiency in basic math and converting measurements.Experience with hand and power tools.Ability to use a tape measure with 1/16\" measurement accuracy.Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs+ regularly throughout the workday.Additional Skills & QualificationsDirect experience with concrete manufacturing, preferably pre-cast and/or rebar.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility has high ceilings, heated in winter, with a temperature around 67 degrees. In summer, we open bay doors for ventilation. Employees will encounter concrete dust and machinery, but no hearing protection is required as the radio is played throughout the plant. Dress code includes long pants, T-shirt, steel-toe boots, and company-provided gloves and safety glasses if needed.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
