**CTG is seeking to fill a Pre-Press Technician position for our client.** **Location:** Eden Prairie, MN **Duration:** Permanent Placement **Key Responsibilities:** + Pre-flight and prepare customer files for print production + Create and send digital proofs to clients for approval + Make revisions and corrections to files as requested + Output printing plates using CTP systems + Collaborate with production and customer service teams to ensure job accuracy + Handle press layouts, digital plate processing, prepress electronic stripping, and troubleshooting **Required Skills & Qualifications:** + 3+ years of experience as a Pre-Press Technician in a commercial print environment + Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) + Familiarity with imposition software (XMF a plus) + Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability + Excellent verbal and written communication + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines + High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Printing Technology or related field preferred **Physical Requirements & Work Environment:** + Standing 90% of the time, sitting 10% + Lift plates weighing 5–30 lbs + Closed-toe shoes required Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $26.00 to $30.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
