Job Title: Pre Press Proofer

Job Description

A prepress technician checks proofs of print materials to ensure formatting, text, and color are correct before printing begins. Job duties may include reviewing and correcting format and layout, setting up printing press equipment, and performing maintenance on printing presses.

ResponsibilitiesReview and correct format and layout of print materials.Set up printing press equipment for production.Perform maintenance on printing presses.Ensure print materials meet quality standards before production.Collaborate with internal and external clients to meet project requirements.Essential SkillsStrong experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.Extreme attention to detail.Ability to work within production schedule requirements.Excellent communication skills.Tech-savvy and quick learning capabilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrepress experience is a plus.Knowledge of Kodak systems and InSite is beneficial.Experience in printing is ideal.Press knowledge and graphic design experience preferred.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
