Current employees may need further approvals prior to accepting position***_ As a Pre/Post Site Screener, you will support Minnesota Health Care Program (MHCP) program integrity efforts by coordinating, conducting, and documenting pre- and post-site screening activities for MHCP providers across the state. This role involves independently reviewing referrals, conducting research across multiple DHS systems, supporting site screeners, and evaluating compliance with federal and state enrollment requirements. This role will serve as a reference and resource for the Onsite Screeners (HSP Specialist 1). Screening activities are a critical component of program integrity efforts to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse. **Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:** + Conduct on-site screening activities for moderate and high-risk providers to revalidate them as MHCP providers. + Make recommendations on reenrollment status based on information obtained. + Conduct assigned unannounced screening visits within designated timeframes; typical screening visits take approximately one hour or less. + Complete electronic ELICI stands for Electronic Licensing Inspection Checklist Information (ELICI) screening checklists using a Department of Human Services DHS)-issued tablet or computer. + Obtain information and conduct brief interviews of providers and other key individuals during onsite visits to assess provider eligibility and compliance with revalidation requirements. + Take photographs and document site locations and screening findings in accordance with DHS protocols and by using prepared checklists and resources. **Minimum Qualifications** **_**To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.**_** **Incumbent must** **_possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record, and the ability to travel independently throughout an assigned geographic area._** AND Experience conducting inspections, compliance reviews, investigations, audits, fieldwork, or similar activities within government, health care, human services, law enforcement, licensing, regulatory work, or related fields. OR Bachelor’s degree in public administration, social sciences, business, health services, or another field providing skills in compliance, documentation, interviewing, or regulated-environment work.
