Pre Pack Manual Operator

Pre-Pack Level 1 (Materialist/Manuel Tables) is a key position to keep production lines working, supporting with machine cleaning, proactive detection of safety and quality issues and timely escalating any issue to the flow operators or production Technicians to receive the proper support. \n\nThey do not want candidates with only a warehouse background, the skill set is too different as they are used to moving around, and this is anything but that. \n\nResponsible for keeping the equipment, materials and tools in good conditions as well as the good disposition to perform adequately each position that involves the correct line operation. \nEnsure that the quality requirements of the LEGO® group be kept. \nContribute to the utilization of the pre-pack equipment. \nComply with the standards of production per hour. \nComply with the reports of the assigned line. \n\nResponsible of the adjustment of counting machine, bagger and scales of regular’s lines for assure the quality and efficiency of the line. \n\nCandidates in prepack will be manually handling bricks as they go into the separate bags, and will be all hands on work with small parts\nCandidates in prepack will be working around and with more automated equipment as much of that line is automated however there is a manual component mixing and matching Lego pieces to ensure the right ones are in the right packages \n\nCandidates will be standing for 12 hour shifts, however some of the roles in Prepack may actually be sitting. They will rotate them throughout the station, it is truly assembly line format where they are shoulder to shoulder with other candidates assembling boxes.\n\nGood understanding and working knowledge of counting machine, material handling, manual table, production/line documentation, and process escalation. \nCompleted all training and process confirmation requirements for Level 1 on the job training verified by LVA training department: \nCollaborate to keep excellent communication with peers following the LEGO® Group values. \nSupport Change Overs, quality inspections, machine cleaning, \n\nOther job duties as assigned.

**Every New hire will start entry level despite how many years of experience they have. From Packing to warehouse, if they have machine operator experience it Could and Will be used down the road; however they have to work their way up by starting learning the Lego Production Processes. \nThere are 2 Levels to the Prepack Operator from Level 1 to Level 2 \nContinuous standing and walking \nTurning body side-to-side \nLifting product up to 33 lbs. \nGrabbing/Pinching \nReach away from your body. \n\n3,2,2,3 type of schedule. \nHigh School Diploma/GED preferred \n\nPlease verify all of the below: \nContinuous standing and walking, Turning body side-to-side, Lifting product up to 33 lbs. \nGrabbing/Pinching constantly \nReach away from your body and bending/squatting \nBending/ squatting \n\nJob tenure- 1-2 years of maintaining jobs before movement (i.e. tenure in their jobs) Ideally \nNo unexplained large gaps in employment\nMust come from previous environment where performance is measured

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.15 - $19.15/hr.
