Job Title: Practice Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Practice Coordinator to join our team at a renowned outpatient therapy facility. This role will be responsible for front desk operations, patient interactions, scheduling, insurance verification, and handling phone calls. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend shifts. The initial duration is 3 to 6 months with the potential for a permanent placement.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk operations and greet patients upon arrival.Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries.Verify insurance information and process authorizations.Collaborate with multiple team members to ensure seamless patient care.Utilize interpersonal skills to maintain a patient-friendly environment.Handle approximately 30 patients per day.Make phone calls related to patient care and scheduling.

Essential Skills

Experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred.Familiarity with Apex software for healthcare management.Strong patient care and front desk management skills.Knowledge of health insurance processes and verification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Some knowledge of outpatient therapy is helpful.Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

Work Environment

This position is based at Hyde Hospital, within the outpatient therapy division encompassing three on-site clinics. The role requires interaction with patients and collaboration with healthcare professionals in a dynamic clinical setting. Dress code is professional attire suitable for a healthcare environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
