We are seeking a highly creative, strategic storyteller to join the Workplace team responsible for discovering, developing, and sharing authentic employee narratives across our hourly and salaried populations.
This role will serve as the storytelling lead, responsible for surfacing compelling stories that showcase our diverse workforce, celebrating the experiences of employees across all roles—from fulfillment centers and delivery stations to corporate offices. The ideal candidate can work autonomously as well as cross-functionally; has experience building trust with employees at all levels and translating their experiences into engaging content; a proven track record creating narratives that resonate across different audiences and channels; and is able to identify storytelling opportunities that align with business priorities and cultural moments.
This individual should be a self-starter, have exceptional listening and writing skills, and thrive on connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. They'll display sensitivity and adaptability in fast-paced environments and become a trusted partner to PXT, Communications, Operations, and leadership teams across the organization.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as an employee storytelling expert with a demonstrated understanding of what resonates with both hourly and salaried workforce audiences.
- Support content development for integrated employee experience campaigns in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Identify and execute storytelling opportunities based on cultural moments, business milestones, and employee feedback.
- Support development and execution of storytelling strategies, including communicating plans internally and securing leadership approvals.
- Provide counsel to cross-functional teams on narrative approaches, messaging, and content best practices.
- Develop and manage relationships with employees across the network, building trust to surface authentic stories.
- Help manage third-party agencies or vendors to support video production, editing, and multimedia content creation.
- Act as a utility player across the Workplace team to support other activities and projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience creating employee-focused or human-interest content within an agency or in-house environment.
- Extensive experience working with diverse employee populations and translating their experiences into compelling narratives.
- Proven ability to conduct interviews and build trust with people at all organizational levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across various formats and channels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- High levels of creativity and ability to find unique angles in everyday experiences.
- Proactive self-starter with a proven track record of taking initiative and driving projects independently.
- Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders on cross-functional projects.
- Experience supporting in-person events, employee activations, or site visits - Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to develop hooks/angles/narratives that resonate with internal audiences and leadership.
- Experience using data and metrics to measure content impact and optimize storytelling approach.
- Able to inspire agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality creative work at scale.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
