We’re looking for an ambitious, creative and savvy PR professional with a passion for film and television to join our Turkey PR team, based in our Istanbul office. You will have experience developing strategic and innovative PR campaigns that generate impactful coverage and conversations about titles and brand narratives.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders such as talent management companies, filmmakers, showrunners, production partners, and festivals. You will thoughtfully craft campaign roadmaps, develop concise and compelling pitches, and, together with local agencies, work with media across broadcast, print, online, social and radio, in line with broader marketing strategies. You will also drive digital PR efforts by partnering with influencers and content creators, integrating influencer activations into campaigns to maximize impact.
The person in this role is able to make sound decisions under pressure, and think creatively and strategically. We are looking for someone who is proactive and energized by seeing impactful campaigns come to life. You are comfortable constructively challenging assumptions and suggesting improved approaches; you can make decisions without over-escalating and you communicate in a clear and direct way. As a part of the wider Marketing team, you will collaborate effectively with internal partners across Title Marketing, Content, Photo & A/V Studio, Events, Social, Awards, Product, and more. Strong candidates can manage a variety of projects in a dynamic work environment and are eager to learn. You will have experience working with and managing agencies (both retainer and project-based), managing a budget, and providing visibility into plans and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic, creative PR campaigns for titles and brand narratives in Turkey, driving impactful conversation and coverage.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including talent, talent agents, filmmakers, showrunners, production partners, and festivals.
Craft campaign roadmaps and concise, compelling pitches aligned with broader marketing strategies.
Partner with and manage local PR agencies to deliver integrated campaigns across broadcast, print, online, social and radio.
Lead digital PR efforts by identifying and collaborating with influencers and content creators, integrating influencer activations into title campaigns.
Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
Manage PR budgets, monitor spend, and provide visibility into plans, progress, and results.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, making sound decisions under pressure and adapting strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in PR in entertainment, tech, music, sports, fashion, lifestyle or related industries;
You have a good understanding of the Turkish media and entertainment landscape and the confidence to build relationships with key journalists, social media influencers, showrunners and talent representatives. You are skilled at making use of multiple earned media channels, including broadcast, print, digital and social;
You love entertainment and you are excited to deliver stories that showcase Turkish content to people all over the world
You have strong business acumen, excellent problem-solving skills and you are capable of working at a fast pace, prioritizing a high-volume workload.
You are fluent in Turkish and in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
