Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. seeks qualified pipe fitters for a project in Skippers, VA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Exp w/layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance & repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps & equip. in industry environment.

 

Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.Must be experienced in Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel.Must be experienced in taking your own measurements and use power tools. Qualifications At least three years Pipefitter in Industrial Construction settingCommitted to safety at all timesExcellent attendance Physical Demands Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSignMay be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 poundsMust posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified aboveMust be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areasMust have full range of motion consistent with ageMust be able to climb and maintain balance laddersMust be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noisesVisual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfacesSafety/Steel toe shoes are required.
