Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. seeks an Ironworker for a project in Skippers, VA.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Installation of seismic supports.Erection or repair of structural / ornamental steel.Proficiency in the use of specialty and standard rigging equipment.Reading and interpreting structural drawings.Familiar with OSHA rigging requirements and hand signals. Qualifications Individuals shall have a minimum of five (5) years of industrial ironworker experience. Physical Demands Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSignMay be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 poundsMust posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified aboveMust be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areasMust have full range of motion consistent with ageMust be able to climb and maintain balance laddersMust be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noisesVisual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfacesSafety/Steel toe shoes are required.
