Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. seeks an Industrial Carpenter in Lakeland, FL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Cut, fabricate and install Industrial buildings and other structures according to specificationsJob will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructures and productsA carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detailMeasure, layout, build forms, pour concrete and finish project.Ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials and masonry workBeing able to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. Qualifications Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida driver’s licenseMust possess and maintain a valid telephone numberAt least one-year of form carpentry experience - job will provide all tools - may bring tool belt, tape measure, etc.Power Tools will be provided. Carpenter, Hand Tools, are required Physical Demands Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSignMay be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 poundsMust posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified aboveMust be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areasMust have full range of motion consistent with ageMust be able to climb and maintain balance laddersMust be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noisesVisual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfacesSafety/Steel toe shoes are required.
