Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. seeks a facilities maintenance tech in Liberty, SC.  Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the maintenance tech will perform a variety of semiskilled trades for the maintenance support of the TaylorMade Liberty plant.

 

Essential Duties:

Provides quality work, while meeting timelines and project completion dates. Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed.Ability to do minor repairs to air compressor system, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.Operate boom lift and scissor lift.Remove or rearrange furniture, as needed.Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed.Cleaning paint booth exhaust stacks once a month. (3)Maintain exterior property, including snow removal and ice melt dispersion on sidewalks.Assist other contractors/vendors when needed.Must be able to operate a ride on floor cleaner.Be motivated and work safely and productively.Understand LOTO procedures.

 Qualifications:

Possess the ability to use the English language to communicate (both verbally and in writing) accurately and concisely on technical mattersBe a team player with a positive attitudeAbility to work independentlyHave a complete set of basic hand toolsAbility to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spacesPerform work at heights

Education and Work Experience Requirements

High school education or equivalentBasic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentryMust demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service orientedMust be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task1-2 years experience in a related field
