### Job Duties SUMMARY This position is responsible and accountable for overall coating application of powder on parts. They are responsible for operating and maintain paint booths. Ensures customer satisfaction within the guidelines, objectives and policies of the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Ability to read prints, travelers, and TDS/SDS to discern the quality of parts being processed 2. Ability to set up and maintain all paint systems to insure maximum productivity 3. Ability to apply all types of powder coatings at high quality standards 4. Maintains inventor of powder utilized - ensure you practice FIFO. 5. Trains and monitors new painters 6. Keep work area clean and organized; perform routine equipment maintenance. 7. Record production data, including materials used, time, quality readings, and any issues encountered 8. Perform touch-ups or rework as needed to meet quality standards. 9. Performs all other duties as assigned ### Minimum Education Required High School/G.E.D. ### Minimum Experience Required Painting experience in a production work setting. (1 yr.) Experience with metal and aluminum coating processes and procedures (1 yr.) Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 and AAMA 2605 Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and varying temperatures.
